and yea hmm its gonna be the "month of the ghost" in 30 minutes...
which will be best time to collect ghost stories from different people dont you agree? and yea not to forget the "getais" which are a part of Singapore rich culture..however, they are strictly only for those who can understand hokkien =X
btw i think that the hokkien language survive in Singapore mainly because of its "powerful" vulgar language its the official BIBLE of vulgarites in Singapore LOL
even "westernised" Singaporeans/foreigners know about them =D im an advocator of the language though im not particularly fluent at that except the vulgarites hohoho..
my mum used to say "eh my dear boy dont go home too late ok or smth like that" during the month .. then i rmbed how i tried to scare people and put up a brave front, when actually deep down i actually scared myself and became scared to sleep alone haha then sometimes when i walk home alone dead in the night i'll start imagining what if theres a ghost beside me then my brain will start to flash a mini "movie" of all the clips of ghost movies that i watched in the past before i make a dash for home... =XX
anyway i was born during the "hungry ghost" month but luckily/unfortunally for me i do not have a 3rd eye
this reminds me of one incident when my grandfather passed away,my mum and granny told me this when i was older that, during that period, i actually kept crying every night and seemed to be staring at one spot intensly and gesturing but when they checked, there were actually no one ...
i know it dosent sound errie but it might just be my nearest encounter to a ghost so far although im hoping that i have a chance to meet one this month =]
